- Prohibits discrimination based on a student’s actual or perceived immigration status
- A school district’s complain t processes must include discrimination based on immigration status.
- Schools cannot collect information regarding citizenship or immigration status of students or their family members.
- Parents must be informed of their children’s right to a public education regardless of immigration status or religious beliefs.
- Students must be educated about the negative impact of bullying based on immigration status or religious beliefs.
- The attorney General must publish model policies to keep immigration enforcement agencies out of schools. School districts must adopt these model policies or their equivalent.
